The green walls and mesh ceiling with its soft lighting give the Hoptail Lounge a proper pub feel that's both cosy and celebratory. We've tucked this space away within our original brewery building, where you can host up to 60 guests for your party while still feeling connected to the buzz of Brew York. Your group gets the best of both worlds here - privacy when you want it, plus easy access to our main Tap Room just steps away. We've arranged the space with leather sofas and armchairs that create natural conversation areas, while the rustic bar keeps drinks flowing without anyone having to venture far. Those fairy lights strung across the ceiling? They set just the right mood once the evening kicks in. Being part of the brewery means your guests can nip downstairs to watch our brewers at work through the glass panels, or wander out to our riverside beer garden overlooking the River Foss when they fancy some fresh air. The room works brilliantly for birthday parties, leaving dos, or any celebration where you want your own space without losing that authentic brewery atmosphere. Our bar in here serves everything from our own fresh brews straight from the tanks to wines, spirits and soft drinks. The eclectic seating means people can sprawl out on the sofas or gather round for toasts, and we often see groups decorating with balloons and banners to make it their own for the night. Right in York city centre, we're dead easy to find with all the transport links nearby.
