Our Beer Hall takes over the entire first floor of Brew York, right in the heart of York city centre. Picture walking into a proper Bavarian beer hall - that's exactly what we've created here, complete with long communal tables and an atmosphere that gets livelier as the night goes on. We're pretty proud of our 40 taps pouring everything from our own fresh brews to guest beers, lagers and ciders - it's actually the biggest selection you'll find anywhere in York or the surrounding area. The space works brilliantly for parties because of how we've set it up. Those Bavarian-style tables mean your group can spread out together, and the open kitchen where YUZU Street Food serves up their Asian-inspired dishes adds real energy to the room. We host our Sunday quiz here too, which gives you an idea of the acoustics and atmosphere - it's lively but you can still hear each other talk. For private parties, we can section off areas of the Beer Hall or you might prefer our dedicated event spaces. The Hoptail Lounge works perfectly for groups up to 60, while our Tasting Room suits more intimate gatherings of around 20 people. Both spaces give you that brewery atmosphere while keeping your party separate from the main crowds. Downstairs in our Tap Room, your guests can watch our brewers at work through the glass panels separating the bar from the brewing vessels. With its exposed brick and vibrant murals, it's a more intimate space with six cask hand pulls and ten keg taps. Outside, we've got the Brewer's Yard and our riverside beer garden overlooking the River Foss - brilliant for summer parties or just giving guests somewhere to cool off between rounds.
