The Aldersgate Room combines the grandeur of 1912 architecture with everything you need for a contemporary celebration. We've watched this 262-square-meter space transform from morning conferences to evening parties, each time revealing a different character through its parquet floors and vaulted ceilings. Bespoke chandeliers cast warm light across the room, while our gallery-style track lighting lets you create exactly the mood your event requires. The glass-panelled conservatory floods the space with natural light during daytime gatherings, though we can achieve complete darkness when your party calls for dramatic lighting effects. Two 80-inch HD screens and our K-array sound system mean your presentations, videos, or party playlists come through with perfect clarity. We regularly configure the Aldersgate Room for different celebrations. For cocktail parties and receptions, we accommodate up to 250 guests who can flow freely through the space. Formal dinners work beautifully here too, with room for 130 at round tables or 104 in cabaret style when you want dining combined with entertainment. The parquet flooring has seen everything from product launches to milestone birthdays, corporate celebrations to charity galas. Our Lower Ground Floor location provides easy access while maintaining privacy for your event. The nearby café offers additional space for pre-party gatherings, and our catering team creates everything from elegant canapés to full dinner service. Westminster Abbey sits just across from us, with Westminster station providing convenient access for all your guests. The room's proportions, 16.5 by 15.9 meters, give you flexibility without feeling overwhelming.
