When our doors first opened in 1912, Central Hall Westminster began welcoming guests into what would become one of London's most distinguished event venues. From our position overlooking Westminster Abbey, we've hosted everything from intimate board meetings to international conferences with over 2,000 delegates. The Great Hall remains our most breathtaking space. Its self-supporting domed ceiling—the largest in Europe—creates acoustics that make every speaker crystal clear and every musical performance resonate beautifully. We've configured this space countless ways over the years, with our flexible staging adapting to orchestral concerts one week and keynote presentations the next. Beyond the Great Hall, our 23 rooms spread across four floors offer remarkable variety. The Library and Lecture Hall each welcome up to 500 guests, while the Aldersgate Room provides a more intimate setting for 250. What strikes most visitors is how each space balances its heritage character with practical modern needs. Natural light floods through original windows, yet we can achieve complete blackout when presentations demand it. Our technical team has equipped every room with current AV technology, understanding that today's meetings require seamless connectivity alongside our building's historic architecture. Meanwhile, our catering kitchen prepares everything from working lunches to gala dinners, with menus we adapt to each event's specific requirements. We've discovered that our Grade II* listed building works equally well for day-long conferences, evening concerts, product exhibitions, and celebration dinners. The combination of multiple room sizes, our central location, and the building's inherent character means we can accommodate virtually any gathering. Each space tells its own story while providing the practical elements—from acoustics to accessibility—that modern events demand.
