The Bourbon Bar takes over the entire first floor of our Victorian building, where original exposed brick meets reclaimed wood furniture we've collected from across Manchester. Your guests arrive up the stairs to find their own private world—a proper Northern Quarter hideaway with its own bar, bartenders, and that warm atmosphere that comes from century-old walls and thoughtfully placed pendant lighting. We've hosted everything here, from raucous 30th birthdays that went until closing to elegant wedding receptions where the brick walls were draped in fairy lights. Corporate teams book the space for away days, swapping boardrooms for our leather sofas and wooden tables that we can arrange however works for your event. Photography workshops love the natural light that streams through our large windows during afternoon sessions. The room holds up to 40 for a seated dinner or 60 for drinks and mingling. Our private bar means no queuing with the downstairs crowd, and your dedicated bartenders will keep the drinks flowing—whether that's from our extensive bourbon collection or whatever cocktails suit your celebration. We've installed a proper sound system with PA and DJ booth, so whether you're giving speeches or getting everyone on the dancefloor, the acoustics work brilliantly in this space. For presentations or photo slideshows, our projector and screen are ready to go. The wooden floors and flexible layout mean we can shift furniture around to create exactly the setup you need. Located right in the heart of the Northern Quarter with great transport links nearby, the Bourbon Bar gives you all the character of our historic building with everything you need for a memorable party.
