Three floors of original Victorian character meet modern Manchester spirit at Trof in the Northern Quarter. We've kept the building's best features—the exposed brick that tells a hundred years of stories, the high ceilings that give everything room to breathe—and filled the space with reclaimed furniture that each has its own personality. Our kitchen team serves up proper hearty brunches that have become something of a local institution, alongside daily specials that change with whatever inspires our chefs. Come Sunday, we do a roast that pulls regulars from across the city. Behind the bar, we're particularly proud of our bourbon collection—some bottles you won't find anywhere else in Manchester—plus classic cocktails done right and a rotating selection of beers. The ground floor buzzes with our weekly quiz nights (Tuesdays get competitive), while our open mic sessions give local talent a proper platform. Weekends, we clear space for DJs who know how to read a room. For meetings and parties, we've got two distinct private spaces: the Montana Lounge upstairs offers a more intimate setting with its own bar and projector setup, while our Bourbon Bar can handle larger groups who want their own corner of Trof. Both come with dedicated sound systems, and we'll work with you to get the setup exactly right. We see all sorts here—startup teams booking the Montana for strategy sessions, birthday groups taking over the Bourbon Bar, corporate teams who've discovered our Sunday roasts beat any formal lunch.
