Step into the Mountbatten Suite and you'll find yourself surrounded by rich mahogany panels and maritime paintings that speak to centuries of sailing heritage. This distinguished room at the Royal Thames Yacht Club combines the warmth of a private club with panoramic views across Hyde Park, where horse riders trot past in the morning and the trees transform with each passing season. We've hosted countless celebrations in this adaptable space, from golden anniversary dinners to milestone birthday parties. The room comfortably seats 72 guests for formal dining, with round tables dressed in crisp linens and proper silver service. When cocktail parties fill the space, we can welcome up to 110 guests who inevitably gather by the tall windows, drinks in hand, watching the sun set over the park. The dark wood paneling creates an intimate atmosphere even when the room buzzes with conversation. Maritime artwork dots the walls, each piece carefully chosen from our extensive collection.
