The Royal Thames Yacht Club has been welcoming guests since 1775, making us the world's oldest continuously operating yacht club. Our Knightsbridge clubhouse overlooks Hyde Park, and we've spent nearly 250 years perfecting the art of hosting memorable gatherings in our ten distinctive event spaces. Each of our rooms tells its own story. The Coffee Room, our largest space, holds up to 174 guests and offers sweeping park views that change with the seasons. For drinks receptions, the Britannia Bar opens onto our outdoor deck and comfortably hosts 220 people - perfect when the weather cooperates. Whether you're planning an intimate board meeting for twelve or a wedding reception for two hundred, we have the right room with the right atmosphere. Our kitchen team creates everything fresh on-site, working with you to design menus that suit your event perfectly. From formal three-course dinners to relaxed canapé receptions, we adapt our offerings to match what you have in mind. The events team handles the logistics - arranging furniture layouts, coordinating audio-visual equipment, and managing those countless details that make the difference between good and great. For guests traveling from afar, we maintain 33 comfortable cabins within the clubhouse. Several overlook Hyde Park, and all provide a quiet retreat after evening events. It's particularly convenient for multi-day conferences or wedding parties who prefer to stay together. We regularly host business seminars in our wood-paneled meeting rooms, wedding receptions in our grand spaces, private dining parties, and professional workshops.
