The wooden benches are already set when you climb the stairs to The Arch, our private room tucked away on the top floor where the brick walls curve overhead in a perfect railway arch. Twenty of your friends can squeeze in around the long table, dressed in blue and white checked cloth that sets the mood before anyone's even ordered their first stein. We've installed a proper draft beer tap right in the room, so there's no waiting for service when you're ready for another round. The flatscreen TV mounted on the wall comes in handy whether you're showing embarrassing photos at a birthday party or need to keep an eye on the match during your celebration. The exposed brick and curved ceiling create surprisingly good acoustics, especially when your group gets going with drinking songs later in the evening. The room works brilliantly for milestone birthdays where you want your own space away from the main beer hall crowds below. We've seen stag parties use it as their headquarters between rounds of steins, and groups of old uni friends who book it annually for their reunion dinners. The wooden barrels in the corners and warm lighting make everything feel properly Bavarian, while still giving you the privacy to celebrate however you like. Our kitchen can send up platters of schnitzel and sausages throughout your event, or you can pre-order our sharing boards loaded with pretzels and traditional German fare. The draft tap means the beer flows at your pace, not ours, and your dedicated server ensures glasses never stay empty for long. Just minutes from Tower Hill Station, The Arch gives you all the atmosphere of our main beer hall in a space that's entirely yours for the evening.
