Thursday nights at Munich Cricket Club Tower Hill bring our archways to life with the sound of accordions and trumpets as our Oompah band strikes up another drinking song. We've carved out our own corner of Bavaria right here beneath the railway arches near Fenchurch Street Station, where the rumble of trains overhead adds to the authentic beer hall atmosphere. Our wooden benches fill up fast when we tap fresh kegs of German beer, served properly in heavy glass steins that require both hands to lift when full. The kitchen sends out plates of schnitzel and bratwurst while groups share our massive pretzel boards, perfect for soaking up those steins. We keep the taps flowing with all-night happy hours because nothing kills a party faster than London prices. Every week we bring in live Oompah bands who get everyone singing along to traditional Bavarian tunes, plus guest performers who add their own twist to the entertainment. Our stone archways create surprisingly good acoustics - you'll hear every note of the accordion and feel the bass drum in your chest. We've hosted everything from raucous office Christmas parties to 50th birthday celebrations where the birthday boy ended up conducting the band. Our party packages take care of the details - reserved tables, pre-ordered food platters, and dedicated service so you can focus on having a good time with your group. We're open Monday through Wednesday from noon until 11pm, staying open until midnight Thursday to Saturday when things really get going. Sundays we close at 9pm.
