Walk past the crowds at Oxford Circus and down into The Basement Venue, where the real magic happens after dark. This is where we've watched unknown artists become household names and corporate teams forget they're supposed to be networking. The space holds 150 standing or 100 theatre-style, though we've seen it work just as brilliantly with 50 people arranged cabaret-style for more intimate gatherings. The architects who designed this space, David Adjaye and Will Russell, understood something about atmosphere. Industrial concrete meets splashes of colour from our rotating murals, while programmable neon lighting shifts from electric blue to deep red depending on your event's mood. We control it all from our tech booth, along with the sound system that's been fine-tuned over years of live performances. Our stage sits at the perfect height, visible from every corner, whether your guests are perched on the stools along the walls or dancing in the centre. The PA system, full backline and DJ setup come as standard, so bands can plug in and play while corporate presenters get cinema-quality sound for their keynotes. We've hosted product launches where the bass made the brand memorable, birthday parties that turned into impromptu concerts, and Christmas celebrations where accounts departments discovered their rhythm. The layout adapts to your needs. Those tables and stools create natural conversation spots during networking events, then push back against the walls when the DJ takes over. External catering fits seamlessly into our setup, and our bar team mixes proper cocktails alongside craft beers and wines that complement any menu you bring in.
