When you book the Whole Venue at Oddfellows On The Park, you're taking over a Victorian mansion that's been thoughtfully restored for contemporary celebrations. The building spans multiple interconnected spaces, each with its own character, allowing your event to flow naturally from one area to another. The main event space catches everyone's attention with its ornate Victorian ceiling, where original plasterwork creates intricate patterns overhead. Natural light pours through the tall windows, illuminating neutral-toned chairs arranged precisely for your celebration. We can configure this room for 72 seated guests in theatre style, or create more intimate arrangements with 56 for banquet dining or cabaret setup. For drinks receptions, we welcome up to 120 standing guests. Through the connecting doorway, you'll find our bar area, where geometric shelving displays and a tufted counter create a more contemporary feel. This becomes the natural gathering point during cocktail hours, with guests moving freely between here and the main space. The wine display area adds another dimension, particularly popular for tastings or smaller group gatherings. Our Victorian staircase, with its rich woodwork and patterned tiles, provides more than just access between floors. Wedding parties particularly love using it for group photographs, while corporate clients find it creates an impressive arrival experience for their guests. The Parlour Rooms open directly onto The Terrace, where your guests can step outside between speeches or during networking breaks. Having Bruntwood Park's 120 acres as your backdrop changes the whole atmosphere of an event. The Galloping Major Restaurant and Parlour Bar complete your exclusive use, with our kitchen team creating menus to match your requirements, whether that's formal dining, canapés, or buffet service. We cater for all dietary needs including halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options.
