The Passenger Shed transforms from railway platform to remarkable dining space, where your guests dine beneath the same extraordinary timber and iron roof that sheltered Victorian travellers in 1841. We've preserved every beam and girder of Brunel's original design, creating a dining experience unlike any other in Bristol. Round tables dressed in crisp linens fill the vast hall, where we can seat up to 650 guests for dinner service. The soaring ceiling, an engineering marvel that was the widest single span when Brunel created it, gives your celebration room to breathe. During evening events, our lighting brings out the warmth of the aged timber while casting dramatic shadows through the iron framework above.
