The moment you step inside The Passenger Shed at Brunel's Old Station, you're standing beneath the same remarkable timber and iron roof that railway passengers marveled at in 1841. We're proud to care for this Grade I listed Victorian building, which remains one of the largest conference and banquet spaces in the South West. Our main hall is where the magic happens. The soaring ceiling – originally the widest single span of its era when Brunel designed it – creates an atmosphere that modern venues simply can't replicate. We can seat 650 guests comfortably for dinner here, or accommodate 800 for presentations and conferences. The space transforms beautifully whether you're planning a corporate conference, an exhibition, or a wedding celebration. Two adjoining rooms provide extra flexibility for your event. We find these work perfectly as breakout spaces during conferences, quiet areas during exhibitions, or even as cocktail reception areas before dinner.
