A faux tree stretches its branches across our Dining Room ceiling while flags from Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia and beyond flutter gently above the bar. This is where Edinburgh meets Latin America, right here in Stockbridge, with space for up to 50 guests to share in the warmth of our cooking. Red tablecloths brighten the rustic wooden tables throughout the room, each one ready for platters of arepas, enchiladas and our famous loaded nachos. The murals on our walls tell stories of distant landscapes, from Caribbean coastlines to mountain villages, transporting you far from Scotland's capital. Our thatched-roof bar stands ready with bottles of Modelo, Quilmes and wines from Chile and Argentina, plus all the cachaça and tequila needed for proper caipirinhas and margaritas. We've arranged the space to work for different occasions, whether you're booking the entire room for a 50th birthday party or settling in with colleagues after work. Families gravitate towards our larger tables where children can colour while waiting for their cheese quesadillas, while couples often choose spots near the bar to share tapas-style plates. The soft lighting catches the warm earth tones we've chosen for the walls, creating that relaxed feeling you want when sitting down to good food. Traditional merengue and salsa play throughout the evening, mixing with conversation and laughter from our guests. The kitchen stays open until 10pm every night, sending out plates of lime-marinated corvina, black bean platters with fresh avocado, and those hand-pressed arepas we make fresh each day. For special celebrations, we can rearrange the dining room to suit your needs, creating one long table for wedding parties or keeping things casual for birthday gatherings.
