Our first-floor function room opens onto a sun-filled space where wooden floors meet exposed beams, and string lights weave between stylish pendant lamps overhead. The Avenue welcomes up to 170 guests for standing receptions or 120 for seated dining, with flexible layouts that shift from boardroom meetings for 30 to theatre-style presentations for 60. Natural light pours through large windows during afternoon gatherings, while evenings see the room transform under the warm glow of our atmospheric lighting. The private bar stands ready with craft beers, world lagers and cocktails, meaning your guests never need to venture downstairs for refills. Three HD TVs and our projector setup handle everything from match day screenings to corporate presentations, all supported by our PA system and dedicated stage area. We arrange seating to match your vision - long communal tables for birthday feasts, intimate rounds for wedding receptions, or rows facing the stage for comedy nights and live music performances. The space works equally well for 18th birthday parties as it does for informal business gatherings, with dedicated toilets and air conditioning keeping everyone comfortable throughout. Just minutes from Selly Oak station on Bristol Road, The Avenue sits above our bustling pub where beer pong tables and pool keep the ground floor lively.
