The Queen Charlotte Step through the reception and into The Queen Charlotte, where the barrel-vaulted ceiling curves overhead like an old railway tunnel transformed for celebration. The exposed brickwork tells its own story, while our LED lighting system paints the room in whatever colours match your mood - deep purple for a cocktail party, warm amber for dinner, or crisp white when presentations need clarity. We've fitted 200 square metres with everything modern events demand. The built-in DB audio PA system means your playlist sounds as good at the back as it does by the dance floor, and when summer hits, the air conditioning keeps all 200 standing guests comfortable. Behind what looks like an ordinary mirrored wall, we've hidden a fully-stocked bar, ready to swing into action when your evening shifts from presentations to celebrations. The room adapts to your numbers beautifully. We can seat 180 for a formal dinner with proper elbow room, arrange 120 classroom-style for training days, or create cabaret rounds for 104 when you want conversation to flow between tables. Theatre-style, we fit 200 chairs with clear sightlines to the front. When you need more space, we open the connecting doors to the King George III room next door, doubling your capacity. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Barbican stations all within a short walk of our Chiswell Street entrance. The cobblestones outside might be centuries old, but inside The Queen Charlotte, we've created a space where birthday parties feel as natural as corporate award ceremonies. Our events team knows exactly how to configure the room for your specific celebration, whether that's a product launch needing theatrical lighting or a wedding reception where those brick walls become the perfect backdrop for photographs.
