The original copper vessels still gleam in our Porter Tun room, where 900 guests can gather beneath the exposed timber roof that once sheltered London's brewing operations. We've kept the antique wooden floors that tell the story of this Grade II listed building - the former Whitbread brewery that's been part of the City since the 18th century. Our spaces work differently depending on what you need. The Porter Tun transforms from conference hall with its built-in stage and large screen to wedding reception space where those same copper vessels become dramatic backdrops for photographs. The Sugar Rooms offer something more intimate - Georgian windows flood the space with natural light during board meetings or cocktail receptions for smaller groups. We've installed integrated PA systems throughout the building and our Wi-Fi actually works when 500 delegates all try to connect at once. The LED lighting adjusts to match your event - bright for presentations, warm for evening celebrations. Every room holds a civil ceremony license, so couples can marry in the same space where they'll later dance. Our kitchen team works with seasonal produce to create menus that range from working lunch buffets to five-course wedding breakfasts. We handle kosher, African and Asian catering requirements through dry hire arrangements with specialist caterers we've worked with before. The building sits at 52 Chiswell Street, with Liverpool Street, Moorgate and Barbican stations all within walking distance. Our events team coordinates everything from initial viewing through to the last guest leaving - they know which room configuration works for 200-person awards dinners versus 50-person training sessions. We host conferences Monday morning and wedding receptions Saturday night, using the same historic spaces in completely different ways. Each event becomes part of this building's ongoing story.
