Victorian columns frame every celebration in the Gladstone Library, where 30,000 replica volumes line the walls just as they did when this room first opened its doors. We've watched countless wedding parties gasp as they enter this 27-metre-long space, their eyes drawn upward to the ornate chandeliers hanging from soaring ceilings, then across to the warm wood paneling that gives the room its distinctive character. Natural light pours through our tall windows during daytime events, though evening parties take on a completely different atmosphere when the chandeliers cast their golden glow across the plush carpeting. We can arrange the space for 250 guests in theatre style, or create an intimate banquet setting for 252 diners. When you need even more space, we open the adjoining doors to The Reading and Writing Room, creating one flowing venue for larger gatherings. Our team handles all the technical requirements through the built-in AV systems and reliable wireless internet, leaving you free to focus on your guests.
