The Mezzanine perches above the main banking hall, giving you and your guests a bird's-eye view of the Victorian chandeliers and all the action below. We've hosted everything from birthday drinks to engagement parties up here, and people always comment on how the wrought iron railings and elevated position create this perfect balance of being part of the atmosphere while having your own space. Large arched windows flood the room with natural light during afternoon gatherings, while the original plasterwork and warm wood paneling remind everyone they're partying in a former Bank of England building. We can arrange the space for 35 guests mingling with drinks, or set up proper dining for 16 around our traditional wooden tables. The mix of plush seating areas and dining spots means your guests can move between chatting over cocktails and sitting down for a meal without leaving the room. The semi-private nature works brilliantly for celebrations, you get the energy from the pub below without anyone accidentally wandering into your party. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the dance floor heats up, and our team can serve everything from our McMullen's ales to full three-course meals featuring those famous handcrafted pies. Getting here couldn't be easier, we're right on Fleet Street, just a short walk from Temple Station. The Grade II-listed building adds something special to photos, especially with those ornate Victorian details as your backdrop.
