The Singing Office brings together everything that makes Premises Studios special, a room where recording equipment meets party space in the most unexpected ways. We've transformed one of our original recording spaces into something quite different, keeping the professional soundproofing that lets you turn up the volume while your guests dance between the drum kit and the grand piano that still lives here. This isn't your typical event space, we've kept the recording console as a conversation piece, and the walls display guitars and keyboards that tell the story of our 35-year history on Hackney Road. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, while evening gatherings take on a completely different character when the studio lights come on. The room works brilliantly for up to 30 guests standing with drinks in hand, or we can arrange seating for 20 if you're planning a more formal dinner. The high-quality sound system that once captured album recordings now fills the space with whatever playlist sets the mood for your celebration. Some hosts bring in live musicians who can't resist trying out the instruments, turning parties into impromptu jam sessions. The flexible layout means we can push furniture aside for dancing or create intimate corners for conversation, depending on what your event needs.
