The Quayside sprawls along the water's edge at Imperial War Museum North, where Daniel Libeskind's angular architecture meets Manchester's skyline. We've hosted everything from graduation balls to corporate summer parties in this remarkable waterfront space, watching the sun set over Salford Quays while 700 guests celebrate beneath our dramatic building. Step outside onto our terrace and you'll find contemporary seating areas where guests naturally gather, drinks in hand, taking in the canal views. The outdoor space flows seamlessly from the main event area, creating pockets for conversation while maintaining the energy of your celebration. During summer months, we've seen companies transform this into an outdoor festival atmosphere, complete with food stations and live entertainment. Inside, the Quayside becomes whatever you imagine. Our projection capabilities mean we can wash the walls in your chosen colours, display custom visuals, or create themed environments that transport your guests. We've turned this space into an underwater wonderland for one client, a galaxy of stars for another. The angular walls and high ceilings amplify sound beautifully, whether that's a DJ set, live band, or the excited chatter of hundreds of guests. Our Head Chef Tony Pickup and his team craft menus specifically for each event, from canapé receptions to formal seated dinners. The kitchen handles dietary requirements with ease, ensuring every guest enjoys their evening. Service flows from multiple points throughout the space, keeping queues minimal even at capacity events. Transport couldn't be simpler, with MediaCityUK tram stop minutes away and ample on-site parking for those driving. The waterfront location provides natural photo opportunities, particularly as evening falls and the Quays light up, creating memorable backdrops for your celebration.
