We're housed in Daniel Libeskind's extraordinary building at Salford Quays, where the architecture itself tells a story - angular walls and fractured surfaces that symbolize a world shaped by conflict. This isn't your typical conference venue; it's Imperial War Museum North, and we bring something completely different to Manchester's meeting and event scene. Our Main Exhibition Space transforms beautifully for occasions of all sizes. We regularly host corporate dinners here for up to 350 guests, though the space opens up to welcome 700 for standing receptions. The atmosphere changes dramatically when we dim the lights and project custom visuals across our walls - it's quite something to see your company's branding wrapped around the entire room. For more intimate gatherings, we have the Harrier Jump Jet Area. Yes, there's an actual Harrier suspended above your guests. We can set this space for anywhere from 10 to 70 for seated dinners, or configure it for drinks receptions up to 300 people. Our WaterShard conference rooms work brilliantly for board meetings and training sessions - they're flooded with natural light and overlook The Quays and MediaCityUK. Whether you need a space for 2 people or 120, we've got the right room. What really sets us apart is our Big Picture Show - a 360-degree projection system that usually displays powerful historical imagery but can be customized with your content. Imagine your presentations surrounding delegates from every angle, or creating ambient digital wallpapers that complement your event theme. Our in-house catering team handles everything from working lunches to formal gala dinners, and there's plenty of complimentary parking on-site. We're right in the heart of Salford Quays with excellent transport connections, making us equally accessible for local meetings or major conferences drawing delegates from across the country.
