Beneath the soaring Nicholas Hawksmoor church, The Crypt transforms centuries-old stonework into one of East London's most atmospheric party spaces. We've carefully preserved the original vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls while adding everything modern celebrations need, from vibrant orange sofas that pop against the historic stone to a fully equipped kitchen ready for your caterers. The space comfortably hosts 150 guests for standing receptions or 75 seated for dinner parties, with natural light streaming through the windows despite being underground. Those distinctive arched ceilings and stone pillars create an instantly memorable backdrop, whether you're throwing a milestone birthday bash, hosting an engagement party, or celebrating a wedding reception. The acoustics down here are something special too, making live music and speeches carry beautifully without echo.
