The Atrium at The Goldsmiths' Centre welcomes up to 90 guests beneath our spectacular glass-covered Victorian roof, where natural light plays across the original brickwork throughout the day. Just three minutes from Farringdon Station, this central space has become our most photographed room, with its soaring ironwork and rotating displays of contemporary jewelry creating conversation points at every turn. We've hosted everything from champagne receptions to product launches here, watching guests naturally flow between the display cases while networking or celebrating. The polished stone floors reflect the changing light as evening approaches, and our flexible lighting system transforms the atmosphere from bright afternoon gatherings to intimate evening parties. The high ceilings create remarkable acoustics, whether for live music performances or the buzz of animated conversation. Our built-in AV equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi support presentations and entertainment without cluttering the space with cables or temporary installations. The Atrium connects directly to our Exhibition Room, allowing parties to expand naturally as numbers grow, accommodating celebrations that start intimate and grow throughout the evening. Working with Gather & Gather, our in-house caterers, we serve everything from elegant canapés designed to be enjoyed while viewing the jewelry displays to substantial bowl food for longer events. Our bar service runs until 11pm, with carefully chosen wines and seasonal cocktails that complement the space's sophisticated atmosphere. The room's versatility shows in the variety of events we host: corporate parties that use the display cases for product showcases, birthday celebrations where the glass roof becomes part of the decoration scheme, and networking events where the natural flow between spaces encourages new connections. Each booking supports our work training future goldsmiths, adding meaning to your celebration in this remarkable Victorian space.
