Three minutes from Farringdon station, The Goldsmiths' Centre brings together Victorian craftsmanship and modern functionality in the heart of Clerkenwell. Our building's original features - high ceilings, ornate cornicing, and tall windows - create distinctive backdrops for every type of gathering we host. The glass-covered Atrium serves as our centerpiece, where natural light floods through the Victorian ironwork above. We've watched countless networking events unfold here, with guests mingling between our rotating exhibitions of contemporary jewelry and silverwork. The Exhibition Room opens directly off the Atrium, providing flexible space that transforms from boardroom setup for 40 to cocktail reception for 120. Upstairs, the Agas Harding Conference Room accommodates 60 theatre-style and opens onto our private rooftop terrace - a particular favorite for summer drinks receptions. Each of our spaces includes built-in AV systems, projection screens, and complimentary Wi-Fi, while our adaptable lighting lets you set the atmosphere from bright working sessions to evening celebrations. Our kitchen team at Gather & Gather works exclusively with seasonal ingredients, preparing everything from working lunches to wedding banquets on-site. They've developed menus specifically for our spaces - canapés designed to be enjoyed while viewing exhibitions, three-course dinners that complement our Victorian dining rooms, and breakfast meetings that fuel productive sessions. For weddings, we provide a dedicated bridal preparation room and work closely with couples to incorporate our unique setting - some choose curator talks about wedding rings, others arrange private exhibition viewings for guests. Our experienced event coordinators manage logistics while you focus on your celebration. Every booking supports our charitable work training the next generation of goldsmiths and silversmiths, continuing the craft traditions this building has fostered since Victorian times.
