This versatile room has become one of our most requested spaces, particularly for training sessions and presentations where groups need to stay focused and engaged. We've configured Met 8 to accommodate different meeting styles. Theatre layout works perfectly for up to 40 attendees when you're presenting to larger groups, while boardroom arrangement creates a more collaborative atmosphere for teams of 20. For workshops where people need table space for laptops and materials, our cabaret setup seats 26 comfortably. Natural light streams through the windows throughout the day, keeping everyone alert without the harsh glare of overhead fluorescents. The neutral décor means your presentation materials take centre stage, and we've installed modern AV equipment including a central screen and podium setup. Our technical team can help you connect laptops and test everything before your delegates arrive. The room sits within our Grade II listed Victorian building, so while you're working with cutting-edge technology, you're surrounded by original architectural features that add character without distraction. During breaks, your group can step out into our corridors with their grand columns and vaulted ceilings, or head down to Tempus Restaurant & Bar for refreshments. Being right in Leeds' central business district makes Met 8 particularly convenient for delegates coming from different offices. We're just a short walk from the train station, and there's plenty of parking nearby. After your meeting wraps up, the surrounding shops and cafés offer options for informal follow-up conversations, or you can book a table in our restaurant for more formal dining.
