We're The Met Hotel Leeds, and our Grade II listed Victorian building has been welcoming guests to the city centre since its transformation into a modern hotel. The original terracotta façade and stone cupola still catch the eye of everyone walking past, while inside we've carefully preserved features like grand columns and vaulted ceilings alongside contemporary updates. Our 14 event spaces work brilliantly for different occasions. The Met Suite remains our showpiece - those original vaulted ceilings and grand columns create quite an impression when you're hosting up to 250 guests for a wedding reception or large conference. For business meetings, we've got smaller rooms that feel more intimate but still have that architectural character. Each space has been fitted with modern AV equipment and lighting that complements rather than competes with the Victorian features. Tempus Restaurant & Bar has become a real draw for both hotel guests and locals. Our chef sources ingredients from Yorkshire suppliers wherever possible, and the menu changes with the seasons. The bar stays open late for wedding parties and conference delegates who want to continue conversations over a nightcap. We're right in Leeds' central business district, which makes us particularly convenient for corporate events - it's a short walk from the train station and you're surrounded by offices and shops. The on-site gym helps business travelers maintain their routines, and wedding couples appreciate having everything under one roof when they're coordinating their big day.
