The Queen Charlotte room surprises you with its barrel-vaulted ceiling soaring overhead, where exposed brickwork meets contemporary LED lighting that shifts from bright conference mode to warm evening hues. We've preserved the original wooden floors that creak softly underfoot, a reminder of the centuries of commerce that happened in these walls. Your guests enter directly from our main reception area, walking into 200 square metres of flexible space. The room holds 200 people theatre-style, though we often arrange it for 120 in classroom format when training sessions need proper desk space. For dinner events, we seat 160 comfortably, or 180 for standing receptions where conversations flow as freely as drinks from the concealed bar. That bar deserves mention, hidden behind mirrored glass until you need it. During morning conferences, it remains invisible, maintaining the professional atmosphere. Come evening, we slide back the mirror to reveal a fully stocked service point, transforming the space without any awkward furniture shuffling. Our built-in DB audio PA system means your presenters' voices carry clearly to the back row without external microphones cluttering the space.
