The Salisbury room is one of our most elegant spaces. The stained glass windows catch the morning sun differently each season, throwing amber and ruby patterns across the polished wooden floors. We've kept the original panels from 1891, knowing they create an atmosphere no modern meeting room can replicate. Up to 25 colleagues can gather theatre-style when you need everyone facing forward, or we arrange 20 seats around our boardroom table when discussion flows better in a circle. We have an HDTV for presenting if required (for an additional fee) and free Wi-Fi is available. The chandeliers overhead provide gentle lighting, though most groups prefer the natural daylight streaming through those tall windows. When concentration starts to flag, we often suggest booking the adjoining Caxton Room for coffee breaks or breakout sessions, giving your team space to move and refresh. City Thameslink station sits just two minutes away on foot, making arrival straightforward for colleagues coming from across London. Blackfriars isn't much further if that suits your journey better. The legal chambers and media offices surrounding us mean good lunch spots and coffee shops fill every corner, useful when you need to continue conversations after your booking ends. We have climate control in the room, keeping you cool in summer heatwaves, and warm in the depths of winter.
