Three minutes from Aberdeen's train station, our Victorian building at Carmelite Hotel still carries whispers of its monastery past in the original stonework and architectural details. We're right in the heart of the Merchant Quarter on Stirling Street, which means you can walk to the Maritime Museum or His Majesty's Theatre between meetings. Our meeting spaces work particularly well for different group sizes. The Balmoral Ballroom remains one of our most requested rooms - those original high ceilings and period chandeliers create quite an impression when you're presenting to up to 130 delegates. For smaller strategy sessions or board meetings, we recommend The Library. It's a more intimate space that works beautifully for private discussions or working dinners. We've configured our 52 guest rooms with business travelers in mind. Each one comes with a proper work desk, complimentary Wi-Fi that actually works, and Freeview TV for those evening wind-downs. You'll find tea and coffee facilities in every room, quality bed linens for a good night's rest, and private bathrooms stocked with bath products and hairdryers. Our uniquely designed suites offer extra space when you need to spread out project materials or host informal meetings. Just ask at reception if you need an iron and board brought up. Currently, our restaurant and bar areas are closed for refurbishment, but we're maintaining full service for all meeting and event bookings. The central location means you're surrounded by dining options, and the retail centres nearby are handy for any last-minute supplies. Whether you're planning a corporate conference, training day, wedding reception, or private dinner meeting, our combination of period features and modern facilities provides the flexibility you need. Transport links from here couldn't be simpler - the bus station is also just three minutes away.
