Since 1904, we've been serving members and guests at Coombe Wood Golf Club, and our dining room has become a favourite spot for celebrations across Kingston upon Thames. The space comfortably seats 80 guests for formal dining, though we've hosted standing receptions for up to 150 people who enjoy mingling while taking in the views across our golf course and into Kingston. Our 18-hole parkland course might be what brings people through the doors initially, but it's the dining experience that keeps them coming back for their special occasions. The clubhouse restaurant overlooks the tree-lined fairways that challenge our golfers daily - those same views create a peaceful backdrop for wedding receptions, corporate dinners, and private parties. We handle all the catering in-house, working with each group to create menus that suit their event. The bar stays well-stocked, and our staff know how to keep drinks flowing smoothly whether you're hosting a formal dinner or casual reception. Parking has never been an issue - we've got plenty of space for all your guests. The dining room connects to our main clubhouse facilities, so guests can move between spaces during events. We've found this works particularly well for corporate groups who might want to incorporate some golf into their day before settling in for dinner. Our pro shop and practice facilities are available if anyone wants to try their hand at the game. What started as a members' dining facility has evolved into one of Kingston's most versatile event spaces. We maintain that friendly club atmosphere while ensuring every detail of your gathering runs smoothly, from the first welcome drink to the last coffee.
