We transformed a 1990s document storage facility into one of Bristol's most versatile party venues, keeping the raw industrial character that makes DOCUMENT special. The exposed pipework, original lino flooring tiles, and skylights throughout our spaces create an authentic warehouse atmosphere that party planners love working with. Our main space, FACILITY, covers 1,675 square meters and holds up to 3,000 guests. The ground floor opens up completely, giving you room to create whatever layout works for your event. We regularly host club nights here, but the space adapts just as well for fashion shows, product launches, exhibitions, conferences, and markets. The industrial features - those exposed pipes and ceiling skylights - become part of your event design rather than something to work around. We've got adaptable sound and lighting systems that our technical team can tune specifically to your needs, plus a smaller office space that works perfectly as a green room or breakout area. RECORD offers a different feel with its 22-meter-long bar running the length of the room. The low ceilings and vertical pillars create more intimate zones within the space, making it ideal for multi-room events when paired with FACILITY. The industrial elements here feel more concentrated, giving the room its own distinct character. Our smallest space, GALLERY, packs plenty of atmosphere into 500 square meters. The old server room holds 200 standing, with exposed air vents, pipework, and strip lighting creating a mechanical aesthetic that photographers and event designers particularly appreciate. It's completely stripped back - a blank canvas ready for transformation. All our spaces come with bespoke infrastructure hire options, letting you build exactly the setup your party needs. From corporate functions to creative showcases, we provide the industrial backdrop and technical capabilities to bring your vision to life.
