Four floors of meeting spaces fill our Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House, each room bringing its own character to your gathering. We've hosted everything from corporate training sessions to community workshops in this historic Old Town building, and the variety of spaces means we can match the right room to your needs. The Meeting Room catches the best light with its south-facing windows – perfect when you need natural daylight during long training sessions. Our largest space, The Hall, accommodates up to 80 participants and features original wooden flooring that adds warmth to presentations and workshops. For smaller groups, The Library creates an intimate atmosphere with comfortable seating, while the Bow Room provides a quiet retreat for focused discussions or breakout sessions. We've equipped each room with the practical details that make meetings run smoothly: free Wi-Fi throughout, audio-visual equipment ready to use, and induction loop systems for accessibility. Speaking of accessibility, we've made sure everyone can reach every floor – there's ramp access at the front door, a lift serving all levels, and accessible toilets on site. Our in-house catering keeps things simple but satisfying. We serve Fairtrade teas and fresh filter coffee throughout the day, and can arrange buffet-style lunches when you need to feed your group without losing momentum. Everything stays within the building, so your participants won't need to venture out unless they choose to explore the Old Town during breaks. We work with all kinds of organizations, from large corporations running multi-day conferences to grassroots groups holding planning sessions. Small registered charities and community groups should ask about our concession rates – we try to keep our spaces accessible for groups doing important work on tight budgets.
