Our conference rooms at Manchester Cathedral Visitor Centre sit right beside the River Irwell, where the sound of water creates a peaceful backdrop for productive meetings. The moment you step inside, you'll notice the high vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams overhead - a striking architectural feature that sets our space apart from typical corporate meeting rooms. We've designed our two conference rooms to be bright and welcoming, with windows on three sides flooding the space with natural light and offering views across to the Cathedral itself. Each room measures 10x15 metres, giving your team plenty of space to spread out whether you're running a training session, hosting a board meeting, or conducting focus groups. The contemporary interiors blend seamlessly with the building's historic character - you can even explore the medieval Hanging Bridge in our basement, a scheduled ancient monument that adds an unexpected touch of history to your day. We know the small details matter for successful meetings, so we've equipped both rooms with interactive whiteboards, projectors, flipcharts, and screens. Our high-speed broadband runs through both Wi-Fi and wired connections, ensuring your presentations run smoothly. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, and our shared breakout spaces give people room to network or take calls between sessions. When it comes to catering, we work with Harvey Nichols to provide lunch options that go beyond standard meeting fare. Our building is fully accessible, and with multiple bus routes stopping nearby, your attendees won't struggle to find us in Manchester's city centre. We open our doors for day and evening bookings throughout the week and weekends, and as a registered charity, every booking helps support our local community work.
