The chandeliers in our restaurant catch the morning light just as they did when the Earl of Strathmore called this Victorian mansion home. Here at the Gem Strathmore Hotel, we've carefully preserved the original carved woodwork while ensuring our 77 rooms offer everything today's guests need - from LCD flat-screen TVs to complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building. Our two meeting rooms have become something of a favorite among London professionals. Both spaces are fully air-conditioned and equipped with state-of-the-art AV systems, with the larger room accommodating up to 70 attendees. Past guests have told us the atmosphere feels more like hosting colleagues in a stately home than a typical conference venue - one recent visitor described it as a "great homely place to host your official meetings." The Earls Restaurant serves international cuisine beneath those historic chandeliers, while our Glamis Lounge Bar provides a more relaxed setting for light meals or traditional afternoon tea.
