Three historic vessels make up Thames Luxury Charters, and we've spent over 25 years helping people celebrate while cruising past Tower Bridge and Big Ben. Our smallest boat, the Edwardian, works beautifully for groups up to 90 guests who want that classic Thames experience with an open upper deck where everyone ends up gathering to watch the city float by. The interior dining space below has that refined feel perfect for sit-down dinners or cocktail receptions. Our Elizabethan is actually a replica of a 19th-century paddle steamer, complete with the wheel boxes and all the period details. We can fit 235 guests aboard, and the retractable roof on the upper deck means you can plan for dancing whether it's pouring rain or a perfect summer evening. People love the flexibility - start with drinks up top while passing the London Eye, then head below for dinner. The Dixie Queen is our largest vessel at 620 capacity, built with the proportions of a proper ship. Corporate groups book her for product launches where they need space for presentations and mingling, while wedding parties appreciate having room for both the ceremony on one deck and reception on another. All three boats have air conditioning and heating, so December parties are just as comfortable as July ones. We work with FoodbyDish for catering - they've won awards for good reason. Whether you want passed canapés while cruising past the Tower of London or a formal three-course dinner, they handle everything from the kitchen below. Our vessels have hosted everything from intimate wedding ceremonies to massive corporate celebrations, all while London's landmarks drift past the windows. The river provides the entertainment; we just provide the perfect viewing platform.
