We run The Abbey Centre from a Victorian building on Great Smith Street in Westminster, where we've been hosting meetings and training sessions for organizations of all sizes. Our conference rooms work well for everything from small team meetings with just a couple of people to larger gatherings of up to 200 delegates, though most of our spaces comfortably accommodate around 50 people depending on your chosen layout. Each of our meeting rooms comes equipped with the essentials you need for productive sessions - complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building, flipcharts with pens ready to go, projector screens, and our in-house audio-visual equipment. We know how important it is to have reliable tech when you're presenting or collaborating, so we maintain everything to ensure it works smoothly. The Wash House Café operates right here in the building from 8 am to 3 pm, serving breakfast, snacks, and hot lunches between noon and 2:15 pm. Many groups appreciate being able to grab coffee between sessions or having lunch brought directly to their meeting room. We've also set up several breakout areas where attendees can continue discussions or take a breather during longer events. Getting here is straightforward - we're about a 10-minute walk from both St James's Park and Westminster stations. The entire venue has disabled access, including our meeting rooms and communal areas. We regularly host conferences, corporate meetings, training workshops, and community events. Our team has received positive feedback for being accommodating and helpful, particularly when groups need to book at short notice. While some rooms can get warm during summer months, we make sure water is always available and work with each group to ensure their event runs smoothly from arrival through to departure.
