Running a meeting space that actually feels like someone's front room has taught us what really matters to our guests at The Living Room Place. We've converted this Victorian house on Thrale Road into two distinct meeting areas that work brilliantly for groups who need something more personal than a standard conference room. The ground floor welcomes you with proper sofas arranged around coffee tables - it's where most teams naturally gravitate when they want relaxed discussions or creative brainstorming. Head downstairs and you'll find our second 35-square-meter space, which we keep deliberately minimal so you can configure it however suits your meeting style. Both floors handle up to 30 people seated comfortably, or we can accommodate 60 if you're planning a standing reception or networking event. Our kitchen gets plenty of use - teams appreciate having a proper oven and hob for lunch prep, plus all the basics like kettle, sink and dishwasher. The 5-meter window facing Thrale Road brings in loads of natural light and doubles as display space when groups want to showcase their work. We've kept the residential feel throughout, which seems to help people think differently than they would in a corporate boardroom. Beyond traditional meetings, we host everything from art workshops to product launches, health and wellness courses to baby showers. The house adapts well to different needs - bridal parties love the homely atmosphere, while training providers appreciate the separate floors for breakout sessions. Even funeral wakes find the setting appropriately intimate and warm. Getting here is straightforward - Streatham Common and Streatham stations are both walking distance, or you can take the tube to Tooting Bec. Street parking is free and usually available right outside. For groups needing regular space, we offer storage options so you can leave materials between sessions.
