The Headmaster's Room brings Victorian academia into the modern boardroom with remarkable effect. Dark wood paneling climbs the walls while intricate ceiling moldings draw the eye upward, creating a space that commands attention without demanding it. Natural light pours through original arched windows, warming the rich textures and creating an atmosphere where serious business feels less formal. We've preserved the room's academic heritage while adapting it for contemporary needs. The central boardroom table seats 18 comfortably around wicker-backed chairs, though we regularly reconfigure the space for different occasions. Theatre-style, we accommodate 50 delegates, while cabaret arrangements work perfectly for 30 guests who need both presentation space and discussion tables. The flexibility extends to reception formats too, where 60 guests can network comfortably among the strategically placed armchairs and sofas. Those original Victorian windows do more than provide light, they frame a working environment that feels removed from typical corporate spaces. Plush rugs soften footsteps during presentations, while fresh floral arrangements add subtle colour without overwhelming the wood tones. The armchairs tucked into corners create natural breakout spaces where deals get discussed over coffee or contracts reviewed in comfort. Our venue sits just five minutes from London Bridge station, making arrival straightforward for guests coming from across London or beyond. Borough Market and Tower Bridge are our neighbours, offering plenty of options for post-meeting entertainment or client dinners.
