We transformed this 1890s Victorian grammar school into something quite special - The LaLiT London brings together British heritage and Indian hospitality in ways that surprise our guests daily. The original school's character shines through in our 70 rooms, where classroom windows now frame views of Tower Bridge and the Thames. Each room tells its own story through handcrafted Indian textiles and artwork, while practical touches like complimentary minibars and Nespresso machines keep modern travelers comfortable. Our meeting spaces carry forward the building's academic legacy. Power Lab 1 welcomes 14 delegates around its boardroom table, while the more intimate Lab 2 suits groups of eight. Both rooms catch plenty of natural light through those original Victorian windows - perfect when you need clear heads for decision-making. The Headmaster's Room works beautifully for networking events with 30-40 guests or board meetings for 20-25, and we've even hosted intimate wedding celebrations here for up to 50 people. The real showpiece is our Great Hall, now home to Baluchi restaurant. Those soaring ceilings and blue chandeliers create quite an impression for dining events, networking receptions, or weddings with 80-85 guests. Our chefs prepare pan-Indian dishes that honor traditional recipes while embracing London's contemporary dining scene. Between meetings, guests find their way to the Teacher's Room for cocktails or settle into leather chairs in the Headmaster's Room with champagne and cognac. Rejuve Spa offers Ayurvedic treatments alongside modern therapies, and our 24-hour gym means early risers and night owls alike can maintain their routines.
