Our meeting room sits just off the main bar area, where canal boats glide past the windows throughout the day. The room works well for groups up to 12 people, whether you arrange chairs around our central table for collaborative sessions or set them theatre-style for presentations. We find most groups prefer the boardroom setup for 10, though we can configure classroom style for 8 when training sessions need that extra desk space. The TV mounted on the wall connects easily to laptops, and we keep a whiteboard ready for those moments when ideas need mapping out properly. What catches people off guard is the small terrace attached to the room. Step outside during breaks and you're right above the canal path, close enough to hear the water lapping against the boats below. It's become a favourite spot for clearing heads between agenda items or continuing conversations that need a change of scene. An excellent place in which to hold a meeting with friendly staff. Perhaps the only drawback is parking but we were all lucky to find places on the road; next time I will consider using the train
