Woking might not be the first place you think of for events, but hear me out. Our DoubleTree sits right by the station – literally a two-minute walk – which means your London crowd can be here in under 30 minutes. No trudging through the underground with laptops and presentation materials. We've got 11 different spaces to play with. The Woking Suite is our showpiece – fits 350 people theatre-style and looks pretty impressive when it's all set up. But honestly, some of our best events happen in the smaller rooms where teams can really dig into their work. Everything's kitted out properly: decent AV that won't let you down halfway through your CEO's keynote, proper blackout blinds, and yes, the air con actually works. Free parking on-site is a game-changer. I know that sounds boring, but when half your delegates are driving in from Surrey and Hampshire, they'll thank you for it. We're also licensed for ceremonies if you're thinking wedding or civil partnership – the team here has done hundreds and they're brilliant at the whole thing. Between you and me, the location is what seals it for most people. Close enough to London to be convenient, far enough out that you're not paying Central London prices. Plus, if you're bringing families, LEGOLAND and Thorpe Park are just down the road. Give us a shout and we'll show you around. Much easier to get a feel for the place in person.
