The Barbican Conference Centre stands as Europe's largest arts and conference venue, where concrete architecture meets tropical greenery in ways you wouldn't expect. We house 21 different spaces across our complex, from the grand Barbican Hall that seats 1,943 guests to smaller conference rooms perfect for groups of 10. Our Theatre holds 1,156 people, while three cinemas offer capacities between 155 and 280 for screenings or presentations. Walking through our doors, you'll find six dedicated conference rooms and a boardroom alongside these larger spaces. What really catches people's attention is our Conservatory – an indoor garden housing over 2,000 plant species where we host everything from wedding ceremonies to corporate receptions. Our team assigns a dedicated event manager to every booking, whether you're planning a product launch, AGM, or wedding reception. They work closely with Searcys, our in-house catering partner, to create seasonal menus tailored to your event. We handle conferences and meetings daily, equipped with the technology presentations and hybrid events require. Located in central London, we're a short walk from both Barbican and Moorgate stations, making arrival straightforward for your guests. The building itself showcases Brutalist design – those distinctive concrete forms create dramatic backdrops for events while the planted areas soften the atmosphere.
