We've designed this space specifically for private gatherings, with its own entrance that opens directly onto the street, keeping your event completely separate from our main restaurant activities. Walking into Mala Madre, you'll find yourself in a room where industrial charm meets party-ready sophistication. Those original brick walls serve as a gallery for rotating artwork, while overhead, our signature feather-like pendant lights create pools of warm light across the wooden floors. The rustic ceiling beams frame the space beautifully, especially when natural light pours through our large windows during daytime events. Our private bar anchors one end of the room, fully stocked and staffed by bartenders who know how to keep drinks flowing for groups of all sizes. We can accommodate 90 guests for standing receptions or 60 for seated dinners, with flexible furniture arrangements that we adjust based on your needs. The exclusive restroom facilities mean your guests won't need to venture into other parts of the building. For presentations or speeches, we provide a projector and PA system that integrates seamlessly into the space. Our alcohol licence runs until 1:30am on weekends, giving you plenty of time to celebrate properly. The kitchen team creates Asian-inspired menus tailored to your event, handling everything from canapés to full dinner service, with options for all dietary requirements.
