Those towering marble walls have watched thousands of celebrations over the years, and we've got room for yours too. The Whole Venue at Boyds gives you complete run of our Victorian space, from the copper bar with its red leather stools to the dining room where crystal chandeliers throw patterns across the original marble. We're talking proper capacity here: 250 of your friends and colleagues for drinks and mingling, or 100 seated if you prefer a formal dinner. The high ceilings mean conversations flow without that cramped feeling you get in modern spaces, and the marble naturally keeps things cool, though we've added air conditioning for those warmer months. Our kitchen team handles everything from canapés to full British menus with international touches. They're particularly good with those liquid nitrogen ice cream stations that get everyone talking, or traditional English meat and cheese boards if that's more your style. The copper bar stays busy all night, stocked with wines we've chosen specifically to complement our food. The space works brilliantly for weddings, with natural movement between ceremony drinks at the bar and dinner in the main room. Corporate events benefit from the mix of formal and relaxed areas, while birthday parties tend to gravitate towards the bar as the evening progresses. That portrait on the wall? It's become a bit of a talking point, adding contemporary edge to all the Victorian grandeur. Getting here couldn't be easier. Charing Cross Station is literally steps away, with Embankment just as close. The building's fully accessible too, with lifts to all floors. We've kept the best of the original features while making sure everything actually works: proper AV systems, comfortable seating, and a team who know when to be visible and when to fade into the background.
