At The Orangery Holland Park, our outdoor space, The Lawn, transforms summer celebrations into something quite magical. This generous 17 by 16 metre grass area extends naturally from our historic building, where up to 200 guests can gather beneath open skies or elegant marquees. We often watch wedding parties spill out onto the grass after ceremonies, champagne glasses catching the afternoon light. The pristine lawn accommodates various marquee configurations, from intimate gatherings with draped fabric ceilings to larger structures that mirror the grandeur of our 1849 ballroom. Our approved suppliers know exactly how to position these tents to frame views of The Orangery's brick facade and tall windows, creating perfect photo opportunities throughout your event. The fragrant rose garden borders The Lawn, its scent drifting across celebrations from late spring through summer. Many couples steal away to the nearby Kyoto Garden during their reception, returning with striking photographs amongst the Japanese maples and stone lanterns.
