The Dining Room at The Botanist Sloane Square sits just above the main restaurant floor, creating its own semi-private world for gatherings of all kinds. We've watched countless groups stop mid-conversation when they first walk in and spot the botanical and zoological illustrations covering our walls, each one hand-selected to bring a bit of natural history museum charm to Chelsea. Natural light pours through the large windows overlooking Sloane Square, and we can adjust the elegant chandeliers to create whatever mood you're after. The space works brilliantly for 66 seated around our sleek wooden tables, or we can clear things for 70 standing if you prefer guests to mingle with cocktails in hand. Those plush mauve chairs? They're actually comfortable enough for long dinners, which we discovered matters more than you'd think. Our walls tell their own story through the illustrated flora and fauna, and yes, people do spend entire evenings identifying the different species.
