The Court Dining Room holds centuries of stories within its walls, where Jason's golden quest unfolds across the painted ceiling above your celebration. Felix-Joseph Barrias created this masterpiece in 1869, transforming our oldest room into something truly extraordinary. We've watched countless toasts raised beneath his mythological scene, the chandeliers casting dancing light across the intricate brushwork. Your guests will find themselves surrounded by Gobelin tapestries that once graced French royal chambers. These 18th-century masterpieces line our walls, their rich threads still vibrant after centuries. Across from them, Sergei Pavlenko's contemporary portrait of Her Majesty creates an intriguing dialogue between past and present. The room measures 12.40 by 9.50 metres, allowing us to seat 96 for dinner parties, accommodate 100 in theatre style, or welcome up to 120 guests for standing receptions. What makes celebrations here particularly special are the garden views through our tall windows. Natural daylight transforms the space throughout the day, from morning meetings bathed in soft light to evening dinners where the chandeliers take over, creating an intimate glow.
