The Semi-Private Space sits at the heart of Boyds, where Victorian grandeur meets modern entertaining. Those original chandeliers we've kept from the building's early days create quite the atmosphere when they catch the marble walls, especially as evening draws in. We've designed this area to flow between dining and mingling naturally. The restaurant section features transparent chairs and marble-topped tables that work brilliantly for seated dinners, while the bar area with its red leather stools becomes the natural gathering point as parties progress. You'll find the space handles 100 for a sit-down meal comfortably, or opens up to 200 when everyone's on their feet with drinks in hand. The high ceilings give everything a sense of occasion, whether you're planning a milestone birthday or getting the office together for Christmas. Natural light pours through the windows during daytime events, and when summer hits, the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable without that stuffiness you sometimes get in historic buildings. Our kitchen team has become rather expert at party menus over the years. They work with British artisanal ingredients and know how to present dishes that get people talking.
